Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment including Kubota tractors, excavators, skid steers, utility vehicles, diesel engines, and other heavy machinery. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, and drivetrains.

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and rebuilds on Kubota and other makes of heavy equipment.

  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure equipment meets manufacturer standards.

  • Use diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and service bulletins to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair details clearly with the service department and customers.

  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

  • Assist with seasonal setup, shop projects, and field service calls as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Mechanic (Kubota experience an asset).

  • Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (310T or 421A), Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

  • Proficient with diagnostic software and modern repair tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and service documentation.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer-first attitude.

  • Valid driver’s license (DZ or higher is an asset).
